1200 km. on bicycle is what Philippe - co-founder and RICE owner - did this summer; riding from Rynkeby in Denmark to Paris being part of a team, raising money for Childrens Cancer Foundation.
He never really sat on a bike before for more than 10 minutes at a time, so this was a real challenge. We are all so proud of him, and the money raised for a good cause.
In June we organized a Funky Friday cafe at RICE headquarters, at the same time as our quarterly stock sale, to increase the fundraising for the childrens cancer Foundation.
Lots of local business people contributed in one way or another and the entire day can only be described as successful.
